Montgomery County Board of Supervisors Chairman Larry Linkous said Monday his comments about pay raises and county teachers were misinterpreted in an article published Saturday. Linkous said he did not single out teachers in his comments. Rather, Linkous said he will push for pay increases for the 140 county employees who ultimately answer to the supervisors, unlike teachers, who answer to the School Board.
