THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS A TIME FOR MEMORIES|

Here's a CHRISTMAS MEMORY from the Montgomery County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program:

At night, we would use lanterns for light so we could pop popcorn. We would string the popcorn and red berries to use on the Christmas tree. I am one of nine children. I remember each one of my brothers and sisters had a shoe box that we would put out for Santa each Christmas. Santa always left an orange, one apple, French candy [glazed candy] and raisins on a stem. I also remember that the children at school told me who Santa really was.
