MEDICAL STAFFS CAME THROUGH FOR THEM BOTH

Carol Weeks' contribution to the Good Neighbors Fund on Tuesday is in honor of some professionals she and her daughter, Rhonda, have come to rely on.

Rhonda was in the hospital several times this year with complications from diabetes. Because of the expertise of the doctors and staff at Parkway Physicians, the staff of Blue Ridge Pharmacy and the eighth-floor staff at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Weeks wrote, she and Rhonda "will be able to enjoy a healthful holiday season.''

"At times, when I was working and could not be with her, I knew I could depend on these people to give the same loving care that I would have given."
