PULASKI HAS SUSPECTS IN BEATING

Town police have three suspects in the Nov. 30 early morning beating of a Pulaski man.

Michael Paul Branch, 19, of the 700 block of Matthews Court, and a 17-year-old boy have both been charged with malicious wounding. Commander Ed Hogston said a 14-year-old male also will be charged with malicious wounding.

Travis William Wright, 21, reported he was beaten as he left his Meadowview apartment after bumping into three males. Wright said he was sorry, but the trio began beating him, saying he was told to say "excuse me" and not "sorry." Wright told police he was kicked in the head, back and stomach, causing welts and swelling his left eye and cheek.

Wright was treated and released at Pulaski Community Hospital.
