A story about Operation Santa Claus in Tuesday's New River Current described a program operated by Catawba Hospital staff for geriatric patients at that state institution. The Mental Health Association of the New River Valley also runs a program by that same name for adult patients at the Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute in Marion.
