REPAIRS TO CLOSE ELM AVE. BLOCK

The one block section of Elm Avenue between Jefferson Street and First Street in Roanoke will be closed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while workers from the city make repairs to storm drains.

There will not be a detour, but access to parking lots on Elm Avenue will remain open.
