Radford (1-2) outscored the Pioneers 40-17 in the second half behind 15 points from Matt Linkous and 11 each from John Kinser, Chuck Hubbard and D.J. Jones.
Fort Chiswell (1-2) led by 15 points with 5 minutes left in the third quarter but then went cold. Kenneth Stoots led the Pioneers with 16 points, and Jody Burnett added 12.

Magna Vista 75, Patrick County 60: In Stuart, Magna Vista used a zone defense and pulled away in the final quarter to down Patrick County in a Piedmont District game.
Jermaine Simmons led Magna Vista (2-2) with 23, and Tony Hagwood added 18.
Patrick County (2-2) was paced by Corey Reynolds with 14 and Brian Hylton with 10.
Bassett 62, Chatham 59: In Bassett, Tyree Hairston scored 26 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead the Bengals to the overtime victory over the Cavaliers in the Piedmont District.
Bassett (2-3, 2-2) outscored Chatham by three points in the extra period to notch the win.
Terrance Martin led Chatham with 16 points.
Covington 71, Rockbridge County 59: In Lexington, Erwin Twitty hit 22 points and Mike Barber added 12 as Covington opened its season with a non-district basketball victory.
Home-standing Rockbridge County (0-2) was tied with Covington at halftime, but the Cougars outscored the Wildcats by 12 in the second half.
Rob Hoyle hit 22 points for Rockbridge County, and Jaymie Terrell added 20.
George Wythe 77, Rural Retreat 47: In Rural Retreat, Ryan Andrews scored a game-high 26 points to lead George Wythe in a rout of Rural Retreat in a Hogoheegee District game.
Ted Ring added 14 points - 10 in the fourth quarter - for the Maroons (2-0, 2-0). Steven May led Rural Retreat (0-3, 0-1) with 10.
Grayson County 58, Carroll County 47: In Independence, the Blue Devils started off strong behind Wes Self's 11 first-quarter points and beat the Cavaliers in the first-ever meeting between the neighboring county schools.
Bryan Boyer had 23 points and 14 rebounds. Self, a sophomore guard, finished with 15 points, and Chad Shaffner added 12. Grayson County (2-0) was 32 for 42 from the foul line. The Blue Devils made just 13 field goals.
Matt Larrowe had 18 points for Carroll County (0-2).
