CRASH KILLS ROANOKE WOMAN, 34

A 34-year-old Roanoke woman died Thursday when her car ran through a cul-de-sac on Simmons Road in Cloverdale and struck an embankment, State Police said.

The victim was Terri Lee Summers, 34, of Roanoke.

Trooper G.G. McMurray said the investigation has not determined when the accident occurred. It was discovered at 2:25 p.m.

McMurray said Summers' vehicle apparently turned right and slid through some gravel before striking the embankment. Summers was not wearing a seat belt, he said
