Diane Marie Lambert and Thomas Neal Adams were married December 17, 1994, in Colonial Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Branan Thompson, Jr. and Rev. T. Ivey Adams, father of the groom, officiating. The reception was held at the Fellowship Hall of Colonial Avenue Baptist Church. The maid of honor was Rachel Smith. Bridesmaid was Rebecca Michie. The best man was Phillip A. Adams, brother of the groom. Ushers were Wayne Michie, brother-in-law of bride, and Michael Pate, cousin of bride. The guestbook was attended by Marla Latham, friend of bride. The bride wore an ivory bridal gown of shantung material with schiffli embroidery; a basque waistline and short shirred wing sleeves are featured. A full bridal skirt falls into a chapel length train. The headpiece is made of pearled venice lace accented with satin miniature roses. A two tiered veil of illusion highlighted with dropped satin ribbon. She carried a bouquet of white silk roses accented with lace, pearls and ribbon. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Brown and Florine E. Brown, of Roanoke, Va. She graduted from Northside High School and is employed by the Veterans Administration. The groom is the son of Rev. T. Ivey Adams of Rocky Mount, Va. He graduated from Woodland Christian School in Phenix City, Alabama. He is employed by Shivley and Carter Cabinet, Inc. The newlyweds will live in Salem after a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn.
\ Boehnlein-Christian
RADFORD - Tamara Lynn Christian and Todd John Boehnlein were united in marriage on Saturday, October 15, 1994, at the First Baptist Church of Radford. The candle-light ceremony was performed by the Reverend Joe Burton and the Reverend Michael Thompson.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William E. Christian of Radford. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Boehnlein of Neenah, Wisconsin.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride chose a chapel length ivory hand-woven silk gown designed with a bateau neckline and a sequin and pearl bodice. The dropped waist was accented with interwoven silk and pearls. The two-tier illusion veil was attached to four silk roses. The bride carried a unique cascading bouquet of callas, gardenias, white roses and complimentary foliage.
The maid of honor was Anne Glass, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lori Smith, sister of the groom, Lisa Woodcock and Jill Troman, friends of the bride. The attendants carried personalized bouquets of calla, roses, lilies and assorted foliage. The groom's niece, Kaitlin Smith, was the flower girl.
Kurt Smith, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Colin Christian, brother of the bride, Kent Henkel and Pete Borsari, friends of the groom.
The wedding music was performed by organist Diane Ford and soloist Kay Ellerman, both of Radford. Jeff Corbin directed the wedding. A reception was held at the Norwood Room in Radford with music provided by Sunset Drive.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride's parents. A bridesmaids luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Connie Giesen, Mrs. Nancy Agee, and the bride's aunts, Mrs. Deborah Jacobs of Texas, Mrs. Carolyn Finn of Ohio, and Mrs. Carolyn Finegar of Maryland. A brunch for the out-of-town guests was hosted by Mrs. Bonnie Dean, Mrs. Sue Barta, Mrs. Johanna Thompson, and Mrs. Joyce Muldoon. The couple was honored with a Black and White dinner hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Glass and a Mint Juleps on the Veranda party hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stone, Drs. Kathy Jordan and William Zuti, Dr. and Mrs. William King, Dr. and Mrs. James Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Whitehead. The bride was honored with miscellaneous showers hosted by Mrs. Jimmie Jenkins, Mrs. Nancy King, Dr. Betty Henry, Mrs. Cathy Sink, Mrs. Shirley Armentrout, Mrs. Margo Garrett, Ms. Anne Glass and Ms. Jennifer Hoff.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Richmond and received by MBA from George Washington University. She is senior marketing manager for National Trade Productions in Alexandria. The groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Oahkosh, and is a fitness consultant for the Fitness Warehouse in McLean. The couple took a wedding trip to Curacau and will reside in Annandale.

Susan Carol Prillaman and Ralph Christopher Burr were married December 17, 1994 in Cave Spring United Methodist Church. The officiating clergymen were the Rev. Mr. William C. Logan, assisted by Dr. M. Douglas Newman. The reception was held at The Transportation Museum.
The matron of honor was Natalie Holland, sister. The bridesmaids were Kimberly Bergholz of Falls Church, Va., friend of the bride; Lisa Byerly of Davis, California, friend of the bride; Allison Harris of Sophia, N.C., friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Katy Fraser of Hampton, Va., friend of the bride and groom.
The best man was Will Leaman of Roanoke, friend of the groom. The ushers were Will Remaklus of Raleigh, N.C., friend of the groom; Jon West of Ironto, friend of the groom; and Bill Overstreet of Dublin, friend of the groom. Ringbearer was Samuel Prillaman of Hopatcong, N.J., cousin of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Nola Yergen of Roanoke. The bride's gown as traditional style, satin brocade, semi-cathedral train, pearl braid outlining bodice and neckline, veil of illusion edged with satin ribbon, attached to a head band trimmed with roses and pearls. She carried a cascade of orchids, stephanotis, roses and Christmas greenery.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. H. Bruce Prillaman of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and is employed by Reico/KBC of Roanoke, kitchen and bath designer.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Burr of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University and is employed by General Electric Company as a product development engineer.
The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, after their wedding trip to Key West, Florida.

The flower girls were the bride's nieces, Brittany Webster and Megan Steeves. The best man was James R. Clark, Sr., father of the groom. The groomsmen were Jonathan Clark and Jared Clark, brothers of the groom, and Geoff Darst and Greg Buckland.
The bride wore a Victorian gown made of white lace, accented with pearls and translucent sequins.

The couple will reside in Greenville, South Carolina after the wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Roanoke Valley Cathedral of Praise was the setting for the marriage of Suzy Weddle and Jason Cook, Saturday, December 17, 1994, at 6 p.m. The Reverend Larry Lykens, father of the groom, officiated the ceremony assisted by Reverend Harry Miller. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel Grand Ballroom.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The matrons of honor were Jenny Campbell, sister of the bride of Troutville, and Jennifer Phelps Gates, friend of the bride of San Antonio, Texas. The bridesmaids were Tracey Becker of Los Angeles, Calif., Sherri Agnew Harrison of Las Cruces. N.M., Laura Holdridge of Richmond, Va., Amanda Mitchell of McLean Va., Karen Osterhoudt of Richmond, Va., Allison Plunkett of Charlotte, N. C., all friends of the bride, and Kim Cook Taylor, sister of the groom of Callaway, Va. Honorary bridesmaid was Stephanie Caldwell Galbraith. Carrie Hatter, niece of the bride, s erved as flower girl.
Jon Cook, brother of the groom of Cleveland, Tenn., served as best man. Suzy is the daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Denver T. Dale and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy S. Weddle, and granddaughter of Mrs. Nellie Altice and the late Mr. Frank Altice, and Mrs. Erma Weddle and the late Mr. Hobert Weddle. She is a graduate of Northside High School, Bridgewater College and the College of Health Sciences and is employed by CMS Therapies.
Jason is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Larry W. Lykens, and is the grandson of Mrs. Adelaide Swisher and the late Mr. Carlton Swisher, and Mrs. Ruth Lykens and the late Mr. Tom Lykens. He is a graduate of Northside High School, Virginia Western Community College and Radford University and is employed by Bedford County School Systems and Sam's Wholesale Club.
After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
