ETERNAL BINDING LOVE
My darling when we met in sixty-seven
I knew I had seen a bit of heaven
With the twinkle in your eyes that night
I met the girl of my dreams alright.
The look in your eyes seem to talk
Your body swayed with beauty as you walked
When your lips opened to say ""May I help you""
Somehow I knew I had met an angel to cling to.
As we experienced our teenage years
We made plans to be forever true
We started our scrap book, we started our life
Before I knew it, you were my wife.
When we walked down the aisle
We both knew we no longer had to search
Our marriage was founded on faith, honesty and love
God brought us together in that church.
Soon God sent us a blessing of joy
Ah! How we love to watch our little boy
With God's help and guide we raised
That child of today has given God the praise.
Like the wind rushing over the wings of a dove
God sent us another child through his love
With this child our family was complete
Our lives so binding no one could repeat.
As the years pass swiftly away
We have God to show us the way
Because with Him beside us to guide
He promised if we believe in Him, baby, I'll be happy by your side.
We have experienced heartache, happiness, and sorrow
But we know that being together could be so much more
Whatever the future, each tomorrow
Our love is stronger the longer we have each other.
We know our marriage was made in heaven
When God brought our lives together in sixty-seven
When we look back at the time we've shared
We give God the praise because He cared.
Today we now search for the right words to tell each other
We know in our hearts that there could never be another
So let's not worry about our love for one another in that way
Because we know that we will be with each other through eternity someday.
