Jasmine Renee Barnes was born November 29, 1994 at 7:14 p.m. in Community Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 inches in length. Proud parents are Billy and Linda Barnes of Vinton. Grandparents are Paul and Carolyn Brown, George and Rosemary Barnes and the late Louise Swanson Brown. Great-grandmas are Frances Brown, Alice Barnes of Brownville Jct., Maine, and Ann Dameron. Great-great-grandma is Blanche Peters. Special cousin is Lauren Thomason.
We would like to thank all the family and friends for the love and prayers they gave during these months, and for all the help when we arrived home. A special thanks to Dr's. Garst and Stroud, everyone at their office, and to the wonderful nurses we had, Clara and Marsha in L&D, and Anne and Tammy on 7 East. Most importantly we thank God for such a beautiful and healthy baby girl.
\ Begley birth| Curtis Allan Begley was born on December 4, 1994 at 8:44 a.m. in Community Hospital. He weighed 3 lbs. 6 3/4 ozs. and was 15 1/2 inches in length. Curtis's proud mother is Connie Ann Begley of Roanoke. Grandparents are Conrad and Esther Begley. A special thanks to God, Drs. Kurt and Leigh Stockstill, Dr. Randall Falls, the Nurses on the 6th and 7th floors, and to my family and friends for their support and prayers.
\ Lamanca birth
Jayson David Lamanca was born on November 30, 1994, at 10:09 a.m., at Lewis-Gale Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. Proud parents are Kristi Lamanca and the late Dave Lamanca, who was a passenger on the ill fated USAir Flight 427 which crashed in Pittsburgh on September 8, 1994. Grandparents are John and Shirley Lamanca, and Lew and Brenda Jamison, all of Salem. Great-grandparents are John and Ethel Lamanca, Dorothy Pratt, Herbert and Christine Abernathy, all of Roanoke; and Ella Jamison of Salem. The attending physician was Dr. Thomas Winn.
Special thanks to Drs. Jennings, Winn and Forth and their staff, all the nurses in Labor and Delivery and the nursery for their wonderful care in bringing this very special little boy into the world.
