HANCOCK NAMES EXECUTIVES

John W. Hancock Jr. Inc., a manufacturer of steel bar joists in Salem, has appointed Van B. Johnson, Carl W. Pugh Jr. and Donald N. Zimmerman assistant vice president.

Johnson, who is plant manager. has been with the company since 1979; Pugh, an engineer and drawing room supervisor, has worked for John Hancock since 1985; and Zimmerman, production control manager, has been employed there since 1974.
