Because incomplete information was provided to the newspaper, a story in Wednesday's New River Current on the effect of budget cuts on New River Valley Community Services, provider of mental health and substance abuse counseling, was misleading. The local office may indeed see a reduction in state funding.

Thursday's New River Current contained an incorrect schedule for Blacksburg Transit buses. The buses will run on a normal break schedule until 10 tonight. Buses will run until 6 p.m. on Saturday and will not run Christmas Day. The buses will resume normal break schedule routes on Monday.

Marcus Long is the new president of the Montgomery-Floyd-Radford Bar Association. Because of an editorial assistant's error, Long's name appeared incorrectly in a business brief in Wednesday's New River Current.
