Radford (3-2) outscored Grayson County 17-10 in the third quarter after trailing 28-22 at halftime. Chuck Hubbard led the Bobcats with 22 points, as Radford coach Rick Cormany won in his first trip to Independence since leaving there in 1993 after serving five years as head coach.

The Cougars' senior star scored a game-high 33 points and Pulaski County's zone defense denied host Roanoke Catholic any access to the lane in this non-district game. The result was a Pulaski County victory that gave the Cougars five wins without a loss.
Roanoke Catholic (1-4) trailed only 20-15 after one quarter, but Webb scored 11 of his points in a second period in which the Celtics were outscored 21-10 to trail 41-25 at halftime. Roanoke Catholic got no closer than 12 points in the second half.
Tyrone Hash added 14 points for Pulaski County, which forced Roanoke Catholic into 20 turnovers, compared to the Eagles' six.
Tony Joyce led the Celtics with 20 points while Roderick Tasco contributed 11.

HILLSVILLE - Casey McCreary made two free throws with four seconds left to seal the non-district victory as the Cavaliers downed the Tornadoes.
Carroll County (1-4) led by 10 points late in the second quarter before Richland rallied to pull within two with 16 seconds left in the game.
Matt Larrowe led the Cavaliers with 17 points and McCreary added 13. Barry Stockner had 10.
Brandon Vernon scored 26 points and was the only double-figure scorer for Richlands (3-1).
