Beaver-Rasmussen

Kaye S. Beaver of Roanoke, Virginia, and Randall E. Beaver of Ft. Myers, Florida, announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Rebecca (Elee) Beaver, to Richard George Rasmussen, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Rasmussen, Jr. of Midlothian, Virginia.

Miss Beaver is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and the University of Virginia. She is employed by the Close Up Foundation in Alexandria , Virginia. Mr. Rasmussen is a graduate of Clover Hill High School and the University of Virginia. He is currently enrolled in the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.

An August wedding is planned.

Canfield-Buch

Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Canfield of Roanoke, Va., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Ann Canfield, to James David Buch. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Buch of Pittsburgh, Pa. Miss Canfield, a 1985 graduate of Roanoke Catholic High School, received her BA degree in Finance from James Madison University in 1989, and is employed by Aetna Insurance Co., in Fairfax, Va. Mr. Buch received his BA degree in Aerospace from Penn State University in 1988, and is employed in Washington, D.C. by a defense contractor. The couple are planning an October wedding in Roanoke.

\ Dudley-Aldridge

Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Dudley, Jr. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Marie Dudley, to John Shannon Aldridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray Aldridge.

Kathryn is a graduate of Northside High School. She currently attends Virginia Tech and will graduate in May with a B.A. in English and a certification to teach in secondary schools.

John is also a graduate of Northside High School. He attended James Madison University and graduated with a degree in Accounting. John works for Brown, Edwards and Company, Certified Public Accountants, in Roanoke.

The wedding is planned for July of 1995 at New Life Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church

Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Gilley of Salem, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Staci Lee, to Daniel Gene Bowman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bowman of Roanoke. Staci is a 1988 graduate of Salem High School. Dan is a 1990 graduate of Cave Spring High School. Staci and Dan graduated from Bluefield College in 1994. Staci received a B.S. degree in Physical Education/Recre-ation and Dan received a B.S. in Psychology. Staci is currently a bridal consultant at Amrheins. Dan is pursuing a Master's degree in Counselor Education at Radford University. The couple has set their wedding date for December 30, 1995.

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Hodges of Roanoke, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Keller, to Gregory Scott Sadler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith E. Sadler of Mathews, Va. Keller is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Radford University. She is employed by Rowe Furniture of Salem. Gregory is a graduate of Mathews High School and Radford University. He is employed by Ferguson Enterprises of Roanoke. A June 24, 1995 wedding is planned.

Bernice M. Hoy of Callaway, Va., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Montgomery of Boones Mill, Va., and Earl W. Hoy of Wilmington, Delaware, son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Ira D. Hoy of Boones Mill, Va. announces their recent engagement.

The wedding date is June 17, 1995.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara E. Johnson to Herbert M. Thomas, son of Mrs. Louie S. Thomas. The wedding is set for September 9, 1995 at Belmont Baptist Church in Roanoke.

Ms. Geraldine Pierce of Greenville, Ohio, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Christine (Tini) Pierce, to Joseph Barnett Mills of Salem, Virginia. He is the son of Chester and Elizabeth Mills, also of Salem. The wedding will take place on September 23, 1995, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Salem. Mr. Mills is currently enrolled at Radford University and is employed with Roanoke County. Christine is a graduate of Roanoke College and is employed with the Baptist Children's Home as a childcare worker.

Saunders-Farrell

Mrs. Richard Ernest Saunders announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Trista Elizabeth Saunders, to Mr. William Joseph Farrell II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Michael Farrell of Salem. Miss Saunders is also the daughter of the late Richard Ernest Saunders. A June wedding is planned.|

Miss Saunders was graduated from Staunton River High School and Carson-Newman College. She is a registered representative for The Equitable Life Assurance Society. Mr. Farrell was graduated from Salem High School and attended Radford University. He is General Service Manager for Berglund Chevrolet.

Schramm-Schrock

Mr. and Mrs. George and Dagmar Schramm of Bottrop, Germany, formerly of Roanoke, Va., would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nathalie Netur, to Eric Brian Schrock. Nathalie is a 1991 graduate of Cave Spring High School and is currently studying Interior Design in Heidelberg, Germany. Eric is the son of Gloria Schrock of Bedford, Va. and the late Michael Schrock. He is a student at Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg and a member of the ``Burschenschaft Alemannia''.

Nathalie and Eric reside in Heidelberg, Germany. No wedding date has been set yet.

\ Smith-Allen

Deon Smith and Judy Smith of Christiansburg proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Brooke, to Scott Donald Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen of Albany, New York. Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and is presently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from USC. Scott is a registered respiratory therapist and is also working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at USC. They will both graduate in December 1995.

The wedding will take place May 27, 1995 at Rutledge Chapel in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. and Mrs. Warren L. Stutzman of Blacksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Lynn Stutzman, to Douglas M. Day, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. Day, Sr., also of Blacksburg. Dana is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruby Morris of Christiansburg. Doug is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Willie Draper of Martinsville. A July, 1995, wedding is planned.
