1 The Blue Ridge Bicycle Club wastes no time getting into its 1995 riding schedule. In fact, Sunday, Jan. 1, the club will feature its annual President's Day Ride. Plans call for meeting at Hollins Kroger at 9:30 a.m. for an intermediate, 14-mile ride to the Greenwood Restaurant in Botetourt County for breakfast. The terrain is rolling; the leader is Ruth Lipnik, 774-4678.
On Jan. 8, the club will feature a 14-mile mountain bike ride from Camp Bethel to the Blue Ridge Parkway and return. The route covers fire trails and single track roads. Meet 11 a.m. at the camp parking lot near Troutville. The leader is Joanne Grissom, 342-5153.
