CITY ART SHOW

The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge has announced March 3-May 21 as the dates for the 1995 Roanoke City Art Show. This annual juried exhibit will be displayed in the first floor gallery of The Art Museum of Western Virginia, Center in the Square, Roanoke.

The exhibit is open to artists and craftspeople 18 and older in the Blue Ridge Region. Deadlines for entries is 5 p.m., Jan. 30.

The juror for this year's show will be Jack Cowart, Deputy Director/Chief Curator of The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Cowart will award $1,500 in cash prizes at the opening reception and preview party March 3, 5-7 p.m.
