GRAYSON EARNS BERTH IN MARION TITLE GAME

MARION - Chad Shaffner and Wes Self scored 17 points each to help Grayson County pick up its second overtime victory in two days, a 73-63 decision over Christiansburg on Wednesday night in a semifinal of the Marion Holiday Classic.

The Blue Devils (6-1) will play the winner of the George Wythe-Abingdon game tonight for the championship.

Grayson County, which trailed by 11 in the second half, rallied behind Shaffner, who scored 15 points after the first half, and Self, who added 11 after intermission.

Darrell Calloway scored 16 points for Christiansburg (6-2), which will meet the loser of the George Wythe-Abingdon matchup for third place.
