The manager of the Wendy's restaurant told police that after closing the business about 1:30 a.m., he returned minutes later to check whether he had locked a safe.
As he left the restaurant for the second time, he was approached by a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing gloves and a mask, he told police. After pointing a small, black handgun at the manager, the robber ordered him back inside.
Once inside, the robber took a deposit bag containing cash, then fled.
