$22 MILLION ESTIMATED PRIZE HAS LOTTO PLAYERS DREAMING

Pino Migliore of Hampton knows exactly what he would do with a $22 million Virginia Lotto jackpot.

``I'd buy a new ambulance for the Phoebus Rescue Squad,'' said Migliore, who was buying his Lotto ticket Friday afternoon. ``I'd go to Ireland for a while. I'd help my family out.''

Migliore is just one of the hopeful millions who have snatched up Lotto tickets, trying to net the $22million prize.

``Originally when we didn't have a win Wednesday night, we predicted $20 million,'' Virginia Lottery spokeswoman Cherie Phaup said.

Phaup said heavy sales prompted Lottery officials to raise the estimate.

``We expect to sell 7 million tickets between Thursday morning and Saturday night,'' she said.
