ROANOKE VALLEY ECONOMIC INDICATORS

Passenger boardings at Roanoke Regional Airport fell more than 15 percent from October to November, but November's boardings were up 7.43 percent from November 1993's.

Airport spokesman Mark Courtney said October and May are the busiest months for most airports, so a decline in November is common. Except for the long Thanksgiving weekend, he said, November is normally a light travel month.

For the year to date, boardings reached 344,482, up 14.23 percent from the first 11 months of 1993.
