LAKE CHAMBER OFFICE ADDS 2ND PHONE LINE

The Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce has added a second phone line to its (703) 721-1203 exchange for all toll calls.

The second line - which will help accommodate incoming calls if the first line is busy -was necessary due to an increase in the number of calls received by the organization, the chamber said.

The second line will also decrease the odds of a phone call going automatically to a voice mail service.

Because of the change, the chamber's (703) 297-1001 Bedford County number is no longer in use. Bedford County residents are encouraged to use the chamber's toll-free number, 1-800-676-8203.
