BROWN, Leonard Marshall, III (``Sonny''), 44, of 113 Autumn Circle, Boones Mill, died Monday evening, January 2, 1995, at his home, following a lengthy illness. He was an employee of Bull H. N. Information Systems and was preceded in death by his grandparents, L. M. and Celeste Brown, C. P. and Lizzie White; and father-in-law, James Howery Altizer. Surviving are his wife, Donna Altizer Brown; one son, Jamie Brown of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tambra Lynne and Randal Downs, Chesapeake; one grandson, Cody James Downs; his parents, Leonard and Helen Brown Jr., Boones Mill. FLETCHER, Hugh Jr., (``Pete""), 63, of Smith Mountain Lake, died Sunday, January 1, 1995 at his home. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and served as a Captain in the U. S. Army Artilliary. He was retired as Senior Vice-President of Banking with Dominion Bankshares and was founder and CEO of Snappy Food Marts. He served on the Advisory Council of the College of Business at Virginia Tech. He served on the Board of the Virgina Food Dealer's Association and was Chairman of the Board of Quality Foods Co-Op. He served as president of the Roanoke Fine Arts Museum, was an Eagle Scout, and was a former member of the Roanoke Rotary Club. He had served as president of the Squires Club and was a member of South Roanoke United Methodist Church. He was a REALTOR with Smith Mountain Lake Realty Company. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cyndi Fletcher, Salem; daughter and son-in-law, Breslin and Doug Mowles, Roanoke; five grandchildren, Will and Claiborne Fletcher, Daniel, Andrew, and Amanda Mowles; wife, Betty Ruth Cundiff Fletcher; sister-in-law, Barbara C. Newbill; stepfather, William W. Krebs, Roanoke; two sisters, Irene Krebs Potter, Northern Virginia, Eva J. Krebs, San Francisco; brother, William W. FOWLER, Jam es E. Jr. (``Bud''), 70, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Monday evening, January 2, 1995. He was a member of Belmont Presbyterian Church, a Marine veteran of World War II, and a Sergeant in the Marine Reserves after the war. Mr. Fowler was a member of AMVETS and was retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salem. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude ``Frankie'' Fowler; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Colonel James Michael and Marcia Fowler, Burke, Patrick Wayne and Kathryn Fowler, Williamsburg; Christopher Lee Fowler, Roanoke; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Theatrice Victory, Roanoke, Ruby Lee and Melvin O.
