BEV DEMONSTRATION SET IN WASHINGTON

The Blacksburg Electronic Village is among several community computer networks to be demonstrated Monday for top government officials at a summit on communications policies.

Vice President Al Gore, Commerce Secretary Ronald Brown and Federal Communications Commission Chairman Reed Hundt are among those set to attend the demonstration at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The summit will be held Monday, 9 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m., in the Commerce Department auditorium, 14th and Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
