FLOUNDER TOUGH CATCH FOR ANGLING EXPERT

The fish that gave Denny Dobbins the most grief in his quest to become Virginia's saltwater Angler of the Year wasn't the mighty marlin or the elusive red drum. It was the flounder.

"I spent 60 hours trolling for flounder and never got a citation," said the Chesapeake angler. "I could have filled boats up commercially with them. The biggest I could catch was 4 pounds-and-something."
