REPORTED EARNINGS

Rowe Furniture Corp., Arlington manufacturer with operations in Salem, on Monday reported net income of $6.8 million, or 47 cents per share, on shipments of $111.2 million for its fiscal year ended Nov. 27. That compares with year-earlier $4.6 million, or 36 cents per share, on shipments of $89 million. Furniture companies' shipments are equivalent to revenues for other industries.

Fourth quarter net income was $2.1 million, or 16 cents per share, on shipments of $30.7 million, compared with year-earlier $2.2 million, or 16 cents, on $26.8 million.
