MEMORIAL SERVICE SET FOR HOLLINS DEAN

A memorial service for Mary Phlegar Smith, former Hollins College dean of students, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Meditation Chapel at Hollins.

Smith served as dean from 1939 until her retirement in 1964. She died Dec. 22 at the age of 96 and was buried in Ephrata, Pa.
