HIGHLAND STUMBLES PAST CIRCLEVILLE, W.VA.

Highland held on to a three point halftime lead to down Circleville, W.Va., 68-49 in non-district high school basketball action Monday night.

After a sluggish first half, the Rams' defense shut down Circleville's leading scorer, Heath Turner, holding him to only four points. Turner had scored 21 in the first two quarters, including six 3-pointers.

Jacob Hull led Highland (4-5) with 20 points, including a pair of three pointers. Bryan Werner added 16 points for the Rams, seven of which came in the third quarter.

Wesley O'Neil tossed in 11 points for Circleville.
