E. MENNONITE CRUISES PAST HOLLINS 75-55

Teresita Grant scored 14 points and Rozanna Zook added 13 for Eastern Mennonite College as it downed Hollins 75-55 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's game Friday night.

The Royals led by four at halftime and outscored Hollins 39-23 in the second half. Becky Miller added 12 points for EMC.

Sara Tweedy led Hollins with 16 points, and Amy Worley added 10.

Thursday's games

No.6 UCLA 75, Washington 57: In Los Angeles, Charles O'Bannon scored 18 points, Ed O'Bannon had 15 and the Bruins used a 16-2 second-half run to beat the Huskies in the Pacific 10 Conference. Washington (4-7, 0-3) kept it close for much of the first half and trailed by three at halftime, but Charles O'Bannon scored UCLA's first two baskets and his brother had seven points in the spurt that gave the Bruins (8-1, 2-1) a 48-31 advantage with 13:20 to play.

Stanford 91, No.12 Arizona State 75: In Stanford, Calif., Dion Cross scored 22 points and David Harbour came off the bench to score 15, leading the Cardinal (11-1, 2-1) past the Sun Devils (11-3, 1-1) in the Pacific 10 Conference.
