`COMMUNITY SPEAKING' LOOKS AT NEW CENTURY COUNCIL

THE NEW CENTURY COUNCIL is the focus of ``Community Speaking'' this month on American Cable Entertainment channel 9 (Radford, Fairlawn and Christiansburg). The council was created more than a year ago to map a strategic plan for the future of the New River and Roanoke valleys and the Alleghany Highlands. Share the vision and learn how it could affect the future when Bev Fitzpatrick and Ed Whitmore join program host Bill Yerrick for a candid discussion.

"Community Speaking" is broadcast Sundays, 6 p.m.; Tuesdays, 5 p.m.; Wednesdays, noon; and Thursdays, 7 p.m.
