ANDERSON, Jack C., 74, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 13, 1995, at his home. He was an army veteran of World War II, and was the retired owner of Andersons Amoco, Vinton. He was a life member of the Vinton Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Ruth M. Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Lee and Susan Anderson, Roanoke Co.; four step children and spouses, James L. and Judy Cunningham, Roanoke Co., Faye C. and Bruce Sheffield, Jacksonville, Fla., Gaye C. and Dan Walke, Hillsboro, N. C., Claude Leon Jr. and Pam Cunningham, Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul (""Sonny"") and Libby Anderson, Marlin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 16, 1995, with Gene Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel after 11 a.m., Sunday.

BLEVINS, Elsie L., 74, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 13, 1995, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley M. Blevins. Surviving are a daughter, Helen L. Anderson, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Marie Blevins, West Grove, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Blevins, Oxford, Pa.; daughter and son-in\ law, Jackie and Robert Norris, Oxford, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be at Baptist Chapel, West Jefferson, N.C. 10 a.m. Monday, January 16, 1995, with interment in the church cemetery with the Rev. John Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

DOVE, Lessie Brillhart, 102, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 13, 1995. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell R. Dove. Surviving are one son and two daughters-in-laws, Howard B. and Mary S. Dove, Troutville, Nora A. Dove, Roanoke; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank H. Brillhart and wife, Pat, Roanoke. Services will be at Oakey's North Chapel, 2 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 1995, with the Rev. Gene Burris and the Rev. Olin Glidden officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Botetourt County.

FLUMM, Nelda Marie Kinnan, 68, of Roanoke, formerly of Warren, Mich., passed away Friday, January 13, 1995. She was born June 6, 1926, in Morgantown, W. Va. She was the daughter of the late, Carl and Dessie Kinnan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Vernon Flumm, and her sister, Lavonne Ursem. She is survived by a sister, Darlene K. Brown; and a beloved step mother, Mildred Kinnan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 1995, at The Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6311 Wayburn Drive, Salem, Va. with the Bishop Tim Layton officiating. GOAD, Madeline Bowles, 86, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 13, 1995, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Goad; a son, Charles L. Goad. Surviving are two sons, James William and Arthur Thomas Goad; six daughters, Josephine Welch, Doris Jean, Sarah Frances, Angeline Marie, and Sandra Lee Goad, Joyce Goad Dent and her husband, Everett, all of Roanoke; five grandsons; two granddaughters; five great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; two nieces; one nephew; a daughter-in-law, Mary L. HILER, Alyce Jayne died Friday, January 13, 1995, at the age of 65. Preceded in death, in March 1993, by her husband, Douglas Hiler. She is survived by her son, Gary F. LEE, Sadie Alfreda, 65, of 101 Chapel St. N.E., Christiansburg, died Wednesday, January 11, 1995 in Radford Community Hospital. She was born May 8, 1929, in Salem, Va., to the late Dewey Mack Lee and Dorothy Alfreda Lee. She was a member of Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, George Alexander Lee; three brothers, Dewey Mack Lee Jr., Howard Clifford Lee, both of Virginia, Connie Gilbert Lee of Florida; and one sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Chavious of Louisa, Va. Oliver, and was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, and was retired from Sidney's Womens Clothing. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Malcolm M. and Carol Oliver, Cary, N.C., John M. and Sherrie Oliver, Roanoke; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Whitsett, Roanoke. PORTER, J. D. 69, of Roanoke County, died Thursday, January 12, 1995, in Lewis Gale Hospital. He was a navy veteran of World War II, serving as a Pharmacist Mate. He was a retired Supervisor with Appalachian Power Company and a 40 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Nitro, West Va. and The Scottish Rite. Surviving a re his wife, Helen H. Porter, Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Dottie and David Perrin, Roanoke; daughter, Jan Dee Porter, Lexington; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Sam, and Angie, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Mabel Danford, Charleston, W. Va., Mrs. Marion E. Simmons, Poca, W. Va.; brother, Felix E. Porter, Cross Lanes, W. Va.; sister-in-law, Dortha Harold, Charleston, W. Va. A former resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, she moved in 1988 to live with her other daughter, Mrs. Philip (Roberta) Limberg in Wisconsin. She also is survived by a son, Harry A. Willenberg, Peoria, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Willenberg. A memorial service will be held at Madisonville United Methodist Church in Cincinnati Sunday followed by private graveside services at Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill, Ind.

WYGAL, Garland Garrett, 86, of 705 Maple Str eet, Dublin, passed away Friday, January 13, 1995 in the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Dublin, Va. Born April 19, 1908 in Marion, Va., he was the son of the late William Jackson Wygal and Sally Schrader Wygal. He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Eller. He was a retired school teacher, having taught in Smyth, Bland and Pulaski Counties, with forty-two years of service. He was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church, charter member of the Dublin Ruritan Club, Henry Clay Lodge #280 A.F. and A.M., Dublin, Va., and Dublin Hardee's Coffee Club. Surviving are his wife, Nora Mae Hubble Wygal, Dublin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Wygal and Mike Semones, Roanoke, Cheryl Wygal and Scott Quesinberry, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Gabe Quesinberry, Steven Semones, Jason Semones, Jacob Quesinberry; one sister, Eleanor McDonald, Marion; two brothers, Jack Wygal, Suffolk, Bill Wygal, Marion. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dublin United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard J. Patterson and the Rev. John K. Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Dublin Cemetery, Dublin, VA. Visiting will be anytime after 1 p.m. Saturday and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, East Main Street, Dublin, or anytime at the home, 705 Maple Street, Dublin. A Masonic service by Henry Clay Lodge #280 A.F. and A.M., Dublin, will be conducted Saturday evening, 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the Garland Wygal Scholarship Fund, C/O Pulaski County High School, Attn., Cindy Watson, 5414 Cougar Trail Road, Dublin, Va. 24084.
