Chris Combs did the early damage and Brian Jackson hurt Salem late as Patrick Henry whipped the Spartans 65-48 in a non-district boys' game on Saturday.

Combs scored 10 of his game-high 24 points in the first quarter and Jackson had eight of his 12 in the fourth as the Patriots improved to 4-8.

Salem's Chad Pendleton and Ryan Reeves each scored 11.
