CONCORD COALITION

The Roanoke-Southwest Virginia Chapter of the Concord Coalition will hold a membership meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., in the Appalachian Power Co. building, corner of First Street and Franklin Road, downtown Roanoke.

The Concord Coalition is a non-partisan national organization, founded by former U.S. senators Paul Tsongas and Warren Rudman. Its goal is to reduce the federal budget deficit and to achieve a balanced federal budget by 2000.
