SNOW SHOW

The Virginia Museum of Transportation is planning a celebration of transportation fun in the snow with exhibits of old and new ski equipment, sleds, snowmobiles, snowshoes and other snow transportation equipment.

The exhibit will open Saturday through Feb. 5. There will also be information available on area ski and snow mobile clubs.

The museum is interested in displaying the following types of antique or modern snow equipment: toboggans, snow boards, Flexible Flyer and other brands of sleds, downhill and cross-country skis, snow shoes, ice skates, and snow saucers.

Anyone interested in contributing their snow equipment to the exhibit should call 342-5670.

The museum is located in Roanoke's Historic Freight Station, 303 Norfolk Ave., Roanoke.
