MUSEUM NAMES HEAD OF EXHIBITS

David M. Bird has been appointed director of exhibits for the Virginia Museum of Transportation Inc. Bird previously was with the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. He will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the interpretive exhibits planned for the museum.

Bird has a bachelor of science degree in history education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, and he is completing his master of arts degree in American history at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
