DEMOCRATS' BOSS BEGINS TOUR

Virginia Democratic Party Chairman Mark Warner opened a series of visits with party officials in Southwest Virginia when he and state Sen. Jack Reasor, D-Bluefield, met with Democratic leaders from Wythe and Bland counties Friday.

Reasor said he invited Warner on a tour of his district to help energize local party committees for the 1995 elections.

Reasor said Gov. George Allen hopes to get a majority of Republicans elected in both houses of the General Assembly this year.

``I disagree that the Democrats will lose their majority, especially in Southwest Virginia,'' Reasor said.

Warner will visit Tazewell, Russell, Dickenson and Buchanan counties today, and Lee and Scott counties and the city of Norton on Sunday.
