The January release was ``The Diary of Anne Frank,'' with Millie Perkins as Anne, co-starring with Shelley Winters and Joseph Schildkraut.
This 1959 film was nominated for seven Oscars and won three, including one for Winters as best supporting actress. The video contains an additional 20 minutes of footage that was recently found in the studio vault.
The February release is ``The Razor's Edge,'' starring Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney and Anne Baxter, who won a supporting-actress Oscar for her role of an American lost in Paris and using alcohol and meaningless sex to try to forget the death of her husband and child. Based on a Somerset Maugham novel, this was one of Hollywood's more adult ventures of the late '40s.
Tierney also stars in the March selection, ``Leave Her to Heaven,'' with Cornel Wilde and Jeanne Crain. In this role Tierney, who was one of the beauties of her day, had an insatiable need to control men and events around her, no matter whom she had to destroy.
All selections list for $19.98 and are released on the first Wednesday of each month. Fans can also join the FoxVideo Movie Club by calling 1-800-CLUBFOX and can vote for the annual selections or order by phone. For the nearest Fox retailer, call 1-800-800-2FOX.
