BLACKSBURG DOWNTOWN MERCHANTS TO GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg will award two $1,000 scholarships to qualified rising sophomores, juniors or seniors at Virginia Tech.

Candidates are judged on grade point average, extracurricular activities and special interests.

Applications are available at Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg member businesses. The deadline to apply is March 1, and winners will be announced on Founders' Day, April 7.
