HOUSE FIRE GUTS INTERIOR

Bedford fire crews spent more than three hours Sunday extinguishing a fire that gutted a home west of Moneta.

The two-story frame house, on Virginia 616, caught fire about 5 p.m., Moneta volunteer firefighter Ray Mason said.

Mason said no one was injured in the blaze, but the inside of the home was destroyed.
