PICKUP'S TREASURE SHARED

More than $400,000 found hidden in a pickup truck has been disbursed to five law enforcement agencies under Virginia's drug money forfeiture law.

The driver of the truck denied any knowledge of the money and was charged only with driving without an operator's license.

On the night of May 27, Trooper Chris Clark stopped the pickup on Interstate 95 in Richmond after noticing that it was weaving and traveling at only 40 mph.

Drug-sniffing police dogs led police to a secret compartment where the money had been rolled in plastic wrap that had traces of cocaine.
