BAILEY, Hazel O'Quinn, 79, of Bannock, Ohio, died Monday, January 23, 1995, at her home. Funeral 1 p.m., Friday, Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

BARNETT, M. Elizabeth, 77, of Elliston, died Thursday, January 26, 1995, in a Salem hospital. She was retired from the Brookmeade Retirement Center in Shawsville. She is survived by her husband, William Calvin Barnett Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Becky Barnett of Elliston; two daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Carroll Carr of Shawsville, Gloria B. Anderson of Christiansburg and her fiancee, Monroe Marshall; one brother, Raymond Gearheart of Sandbridge; three sisters, Dorothy Jones of Christiansburg, Louise Wells of Salem, Lillian Sink of Boones Mill; six grandchildren, Nancy Veith, Julie Fentress, William Barnett III, Chris Barnett, Barnett Carr, Bent-Lee Carr; two great-grandchildren, Holly Hughes and Kelly Hughes. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 1995, at 12 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Steve Sholar officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.

CALLIHAN, James Frank, 86, of Glade Spring, died Thursday, January 26, 1995, in the Francis Marion Manor. He lived most of his life in Washington Co. He was a member of the Riverview Presybyterian Church. He was a former member of the Washington County Planning Commission and former Mayor and Councilman of Glade Spring. He was former director of the Glade Area Senior Citizens. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sue Callihan Surber, Glade Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Callihan, Saltville, Mrs. John (Edna) Pitts, Tempe, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. COX, Belle Lewis 83, of Martinsville and formerly of Roanoke died, Thursday, January 26, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. R. (""Toone"") Cox and was retired from Roanoke Mills. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann C. and Edgar A. Musgrove, Martinsville; one grandson, Michael A. Musgrove, Bassett; one granddaughter, Sharon M. McGuire, Martinsville; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Lee Lewis, Salem; two sisters, Dottie L. Simmons, Roanoke, Rebecca L. Alderson, Sutherlin. DAMEWOOD, Richard Willard, (``Dick""), 70, of New Castle, died Wednesday, January 25, 1995, in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his wife, Marie Duncan Damewood; one daughter, Janice Damewood, New Castle; one sister, Ruby Brown, Portsmouth. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at Mountain View Christian Church with interment in Crowder Cemetery. ELLIOTT, Lonnie, (``Bud""), 64, of Bradshaw, W. Va., died Wednesday, January 25, 1995 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Born January 6, 1931 at Lex, WV, he was the son of Sarah Blankenship Elliott of Jolo, WV and the late James Elliott. He was also a residence of Shawsville, Va. and of the Protestant Faith. Mr. Elliott was a retired miner as a tipple operator from Virginia Crews Coal Company, veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of United Mine Workers of America and a member of the Sandy River District American Legion Post #175 of Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his father, James Elliott and his first wife, Bertha Payne Elliott. Survivors include his wife, Janis Price Elliott, of the home; mother, Sarah Elliott, Jolo, WV; brother, Jack Elliott, Bradshaw, WV; three stepsons, Chris Rowe, Shawsville, Casey Rowe, Elyria, Ohio, Cliff Rowe, Frankfort, Ohio; former stepdaughter, Diana Anderson, Spottsylvania; former stepson, Gary McMichael, Athens, WV; nine stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; six former stepgrandchildren; and two former stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel, Iaeger, WV, with the Rev. Ruford Abner officiating. FELLERS, Walter Leslie (``Wat''), 57, of Blue Ridge, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 25, 1995. He was the son of the late Wiley G. and Julia T. Fellers. He was employed as a service technician for Sears, prior to his disability, and served with the U.S. Army after high school. He was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. Survivors include his loving wife, Evelyn Gross Fellers; devoted son, Randy L. Fellers of the home; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Vicki L. and Mark A. Elliott, Blue Ridge; two devoted brothers, Joseph H. and wife, Ruth W. Fellers, Charles E. Fellers, both of Blue Ridge; three loving sisters, Annie Mae and husband, John L. Bolt, Blue Ridge, Sally F. and husband , Ted W. Huddleston, Vinton, Mary J. Fellers, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Daniel Ray Elliott and Stephanie Kay Elliott, whom he loved dearly; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rubin M. and Ruth W. Gross, Blue Ridge. HODGES, Joseph (``Paul""), 91, of Rt. 1 Glade Hill, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 25, 1995. Born May 20, 1903, a son of the late Taylor and Gertrude Doss Hodges. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Lloyd Hodges; two sisters, Mary Law and Neva Dudley; two brothers, Dennis and Emerson Hodges. Mr. Hodges is survived by one devoted son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Lloyd and Virginia Fralin Hodges, Glade Hill; one sister, Wineford Hodges, Vinton. He was a long time member of Glade Hill Baptist Church. Paul and his father ran a store in Penhook for many years; he was also later involved in the lumber business. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 1995, at the Arrington Bussey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Long officiating. ROBINSON, C. Cameron, 14, of Roanoke, died January 25, 1995. He was a native of Salem. Cameron was a student at Addison Aerospace Magnet School. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop #34, Blue Ridge Mountain Council and served as Assistant Cub Scout Master at College Lutheran Church. Survivors include his mother, Karen S. RUNIONS, Frederick Carson, 79, died Wednesday evening in a Salem Nursing Home. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born on June 27, 1915 and was the son of the late Carl and Hattie Mae Martin Runions. He was a retired Shift Foreman in the Boiler House at the Celanese Fibers Company Plant at Narrows. When the plant first opened, he was the first local person hired to work there. He was a member and past Master of Intermont Lodge #269 A.F. & A. M. of Narrows, Va., a member of the Woodman of the World for 35 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Narrows. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Bailey Runions, Narrows; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard C. (""Tom"") and Margie Runions, Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ruby Runions, New Kent; two grandsons, Glenn A. Runions, Salem, Gary T. Runions, Charlotte, N.C. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service, Narrows, with the Rev. Jack E. Musick officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Va. SLEMP, Thelma W., 91, of Riner, died Thursday, January 26, 1995, in Radford Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Slemp. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Horace M. Smith, Mass.; one son, Howard L. Slemp Jr., Hampton; a brother, Robert Peregoy, Roanoke; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Leighton Culler with interment in Sunset Cemetery. STIGGER, Alexander, 89, of New River, died Tuesday, January 24, 1995 at Radford Community Hospital. He was born April 4, 1905 in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Daniel and Roberta Stigger. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, New River, Va. and a retired employee of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. He was a loved and respected resident of the New River community for over 64 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Gertrude Stigger, of the home; one son, Charles Ellsworth Stigger, Atlanta, Ga.; a loving daughter-in-law, Edna Stigger, also of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Stigger, Norristown, Penn.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Missionary Baptist Church, New River, Va., with the Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Entombment will be at the Highland Memory Garden Mausoleum, Dublin, Va.
