The victory snapped a two-game conference losing streak for the Maroons.
The score was tied at 63 before senior center Crystal Wilson hit a field goal with 57 seconds left to give Roanoke a 65-63 lead. Hufton and Susan Brown then hit two free throws each down the stretch to lift the Maroons to the victory.
Hufton led the Maroons with eight rebounds. Roanoke (11-5 overall, 10-3 ODAC) also got 12 points from Lori Boyd.
Bridgewater (7-8, 6-5) was led by Cindy Pearson and Sheri Lehew with 17 points each.

CHARLOTTESVILLE - Jeffra Gausepohl scored 22 points, and Wendy Palmer added 12 points and seven assists as the Cavaliers routed the Tigers in the ACC.
Virginia (15-3, 8-0) led 34-22 at intermission and steadily pulled away in the second half, hitting 55.2 percent from the field.
Clemson (14-6, 4-4) was stifled by a Virginia defense that limited the Tigers to only nine field goals in the second half.
Tora Suber had 11 points for the Cavaliers and Jenny Boucek added 10.
Tara Saunooke led the Tigers with 18 points before fouling out in the game's final minute. Stephanie Ridgeway had 11 points.

LYNCHBURG - Former Christiansburg High star Rebecca McNeil scored 11 points to lead Radford over Big South rival Liberty.
Radford (7-9, 5-2) shot just 26.2 percent from the field, but made 15 free throws compared to Liberty's eight.
The Flames (4-11, 2-4) were led by Ginny Halloway with 15 points. Former Northside player Angie McDaniel added eight points and 10 rebounds for the Flames.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - Janie Parrott scored a game-high 40 points to lead Maryville past Ferrum in a non-conference game.
Parrott also grabbed eight rebounds as Maryville took a 13-point halftime lead and never looked back. Jama Cameron added 10 points for Maryville.
Ferrum was led by Glossary Smith, who scored a team-high 24 points to lead five players in double figures. Smith also had 19 rebounds. Kia Williams added 17 points and Latasha Randon had 14. Marlo Ferguson-Jamison chipped in 12 and Tamiko Martin had 10 for the Panthers.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Connecticut remained the nation's only unbeaten team, getting 25 points from Rebecca Lobo and six key points down the stretch from Kara Wolters to beat Kansas.
The Huskies (17-0) used their strong inside play to open a 12-point halftime lead, then stopped a late rally by Kansas (14-5) in the nationally televised game.
