The Tigers (15-2 overall, 10-1 ODAC) led 35-31 with 15 minutes, 20 seconds left when Roanoke (12-5, 7-4) went on a 19-2 run to take a 50-37 lead. Akil Stewart scored nine of his 13 points during the run, and Bishop added seven.
Jason Leonard led the Tigers with 17 points and 23 rebounds.
Hampden-Sydney played without injured guard Tee Jennings, a former William Fleming standout, and suspended players Nate Schwab, Brent Schneider, Scott Pomeroy and Griff Aldrich. The four players were suspended for one game for breaking team rules.

TAMPA, Fla. - Jerome Robinson's late free throw forced the extra period and his 21 points helped lead the Bulls to a Metro Conference win over the Rams.
South Florida (11-4, 1-2) was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line in overtime. The win was their first this season in conference play, and avenged an embarrassing loss earlier this year to the Rams (13-7, 2-3).
In the closing seconds of regulation, Robinson missed his second attempt, and the Bulls failed on three chances to score.
In overtime, Jesse Salters scored twice inside, and the Bulls made eight straight free throws in the final minute. The Rams made just one of seven shots in overtime.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - The Scots outscored the Panthers 17-6 in the second overtime to defeat Ferrum in a non-conference game.
Maryville led 45-34 at halftime, but the Panthers rallied in the second half to tie the score at 78 at the end of regulation. The teams played to a 90-90 tie in the first overtime before Maryville pulled away.
John Robinette scored 24 points and Stan Pennington added 22 for the Scots. Robinette sank 12 of 14 free throws and Pennington hit 10 of 13 field goals
Kevin Keatts scored 30 for Ferrum and Marcus Toney had 28. Ferrum coach Bill Pullen was ejected late in the first half.

NORFOLK - Cricker Lauderback scored 25 points, 12 on 3-pointers, as the Wasps beat the Marlins in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Emory & Henry (8-9, 7-4 ODAC) led 36-31 at halftime, then shot 75 percent (15 of 20) from the field in the second half to hold off Virginia Wesleyan (9-9, 5-7).
The Marlins kept the game close but failed to take charge at the free-throw line in the second half, missing 10 of 14 chances.
Sean Blackwell led the Marlins with 16 points and Percy Slight had 15.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Davey McCollough scored 19 points and Shawn Peterson added 18 as the Quakers defeated the Generals in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference game.
Derek Carter sank a 3-pointer to put Washington and Lee up 64-63 with 3:41 left.
Guilford (9-10, 7-7 ODAC) never trailed by more than two in the final 3:00 and took the lead for good, 68-66, on a layup by Robby Pack with 1:23 remaining. The Quakers made five of six free throws in the final 40 seconds as Guilford held on for the win.
Pack scored 17 for the Quakers. Carter had 19 for Washington and Lee (8-9, 4-7) and Chris Couzen chipped in 15.

HARRISONBURG - Louis Rowe scored 24 points and Kent Culuko had 20, including a crucial 3-pointer that helped the Dukes to a Colonial Athletic Association victory over the Tribe.
Rowe also had seven rebounds and two assists as James Madison (10-6, 5-1) came back strong following its first conference loss of the season Wednesday night at Old Dominion.
William and Mary (6-10, 4-2) rallied from a 40-28 halftime deficit to cut James Madison's lead to 59-57 on a free throw by Carl Parker with 5:04 remaining.
But Culuko's 3-pointer made it 62-57 and the Dukes gradually began pulling away to the final margin, making 11 free throws in the last 1:50.
William and Mary got 17 points from Parker, 16 from Kurt Small and 10 from David Cully.

RICHMOND - Petey Sessoms scored 20 points, and Old Dominion's defense forced 22 turnovers as the Monarchs defeated the Spiders for their six consecutive win.
The Monarchs (11-8, 6-0 Colonial Athletic Association) remain atop the CAA, while Richmond (4-13, 0-6) dropped its seventh straight game.
Kass Weaver led the Spiders with 15, and Daryl Oliver added 10.

BRIDGEWATER - Dan Rush scored 34 points to lead the Eagles to an ODAC victory over the Hornets.
Bridgewater (12-6, 7-5) sank 63 percent of its shots, while Lynchburg (5-11, 2-9) hit only 49 percent.
Jason Ferguson led Lynchburg with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
