SPARTANS, HARTZELL ROLL OVER RADFORD

Scott Hartzell scored a game-high 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead UNC-Greensboro in an 89-62 rout of Radford in a Big South Conference game Saturday.

Hartzell hit seven of 11 field-goal attempts and five of six 3-pointers as the Spartans made 10 of 19 3-pointers. Derrick Nix added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Spartans, who led by 13 points at halftime lead and coasted.

Radford (9-8, 3-5), led by Anthony Walker's 15 points, struggled and shot 32.4 percent (24-of-74) from the field and two-of-14 on 3-pointers.

The Highlanders also got 13 points and 10 rebounds from center Kevin Robinson while Antoine Dalton added 10 points.

The Spartans (14-3, 7-1) shot 47.6 percent for the game and got 12 points from forward Jonathan Clifton.
