COMMUNITY-SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE

Seven Springs Farm in Check is signing up members for its community-supported agriculture garden. For $235 and up, you can receive each week from June through January pesticide-free vegetables harvested at the farm.

Program sponsors want to provide area residents with fresh food from local farms, improve the quality of participants' diets, and support the New River Valley's farmers and economy.

This year the program has expanded and will provide food from other local farms. Participants will be able to pick up their food at drop-off points in Roanoke, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, and Floyd.
