EXECUTIVE NAMED TO TULTEX BOARD

F. Kenneth Iverson was elected last week to the board of directors of leisure wear manufacturer Tultex Corp. in Martinsville, the company said.

Iverson, 69, is chairman and chief executive officer of Nucor Corp., a $2.9-billion steel manufacturer based in Charlotte, N.C.

The Tultex board also has named O. Randolph Rollins chief financial officer. He will continue as executive vice president and general counsel, posts he has held since October.
