Four out of five students (81 percent) report that they have been sexually harassed.
Boys report being sexually harassed almost as much as girls (85 percent for girls and 76 percent for boys).
Seventh grade is the most common grade level in which children experience some form of sexual harassment or gender bias.
Of those students harassed in school, one in four girls and one in 10 boys have been targeted by school employees.
Peer-to-peer harassment is more than four times as common as adult-to-student harassment.
When students are harassed, they will most often tell their friends (about 60 percent of the time) rather than a teacher or parent (close to 30 percent of the time).
The most common educational impact of sexual harassment is "not wanting to go to school" and "not wanting to talk in class."
