Because of a reporter's error, information on retail sales growth in the Jan. 22 Economy section was incorrect. Retail sales in Virginia rose 19.5 percent from 1988 to 1993; in Blacksburg they rose 5.9 percent; and in Christiansburg retail sales rose 73 percent from fiscal year 1978-88 to 1993-94.

Because of an editorial assistant's error, the dates for a "Computers for Codgers" class offered by New River Community College were incorrect in the For Seniors column in Wednesday's Current. The correct dates are Saturdays, Feb. 18 and 25; March 4, 11 and 18.

Because of an editorial assistant's error, some show dates were omitted in a picture caption for an entertainment photo in Friday's Current. The Radford University production of "All's Well That Ends Well" opens Tuesday and runs through Feb. 11 in Porterfield Theatre. Curtain time is 8 p.m. for each show.
