MILL MOUNTAIN THEATRE NAMES 3 BOARD MEMBERS

James W. Arend, Mrs. Russ Stecker and W.J. Carter Jr. recently were elected to serve three-year terms on Mill Mountain Theatre's board of directors.

Arend, senior vice president with the Atlantic Mutual Cos., has been president of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, chairman of the United Way of Roanoke Valley and chairman of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is chairman of the Roanoke Valley Business Council and of the board of trustees of Lewis-Gale Hospital.

Stecker, a docent for the Art Museum of Western Virginia, is a board member of Temple Emanuel and of the Junior League of Roanoke Valley.

Carter, who recently retired from Norfolk Southern, is president of The Carter Charitable Foundation of Greensboro, N.C., a trustee of the Art Museum of Western Virginia and a member of the Rotary Club.
