Wayne Cole is human resources manager of Alcatel N.A. Cable Systems. He was misidentified in a Business page story Wednesday about the consolidation of Alcatel N.A. Cable Systems research group in Roanoke with the company's fiber development group in Claremont, N.C.

Because of a reporter's error, some numbers in Monday's installment of the Roanoke Valley Poll were switched. The graphic should have read: Do you have a handgun in your home? No, 68 percent; Yes, 30 percent.
